Here are some details you'll need to know to barcode your products appropriately.

Barcodes Overview

All products must be barcoded with a 12-digit UPC code and meet GS1 standards. Please refer to the linked pages above for further details on these standards.

If your products aren’t barcoded to meet Airhouse standards, after signing on with us, your Account Manager will go through your SKUs with you and generate Airhouse-unique barcodes for each SKU.

If your products are barcoded but are unscannable (e.g., 2D codes, smudged ink and therefore unreadable by scanners, etc.) then your Account Manager will go through re-barcoding with you.

QR codes or unclear barcodes will not be scannable.

Sizing and Placement

We recommend printing barcodes with black ink on a white background, with a minimum height for the barcode image itself of 0.5" and width of 1" for scannability.

Additionally, the quiet zone should be a minimum of 0.125” on each side of the barcode symbol (pictured below).
